Hello and welcome to another Inkspired Blog-Hop! I'm so happy you joined us! If this is your first stop please hop over to the other team players to see what they have created using the awesome sketch Teneale Williams has designed for us this week. You may have arrived here from the lovely Kozue Smith who I'm sure has inspired you with what she has created using the sketch.

The Sketch for this week

This week I have used one of the stamp sets from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! 2018 Holiday Catalog to create my card to share with you today. I different textures on cards and the Country Lane product suite has so many beautiful elements for creating them!

My Card

I started by embossing a a piece of Tranquil Tide Cardstock with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder (available Sept 5) and then adhered the panel to the same coloured card base with SNAIL. I then stamped the images from the Country Home photopolymer stamp set on a piece of Whisper White card stock using the MementoBlack ink. I colored the images with Calypso coral, Smoky Slate, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers to colour the tin Jug and flower arrangement.

I then fussy cut around the flowers and laid them on a circle piece of whisper white which was cut out using the stitch Framelits die. I raised the tin Jug using the small dimensionals for a 3D effect. I love layers (can you tell) LOL. The extra two pieces of Designer Series Paper are also from the Country Lane Suite. I then stamped the sentiment on a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock in Soft suede ink. To finish my card off I tied a piece of linen thread around all the layered pieces and created a bow.

Inside of Card

For the inside of my card I inked the image from the Country Home stamp set in Soft Suede ink and then stamped it across a panel of Whisper White card stock inside the card.
Now it is onto the lovely Maree to see what she has created using the same Sketch.
