INKspired Artists Blog Hop

Welcome to our second INKspired Blog Hop!
I have had lots of fun with this week’s blog sketch and hope you do too! You may have just arrive here from Maree's blog, or if it’s your first stop please be sure to ‘hop’ to all the other talented INKsired Team Members!

This Sketch challenge has been designed by my talented upline Teneale Williams and as we are getting closer to Christmas I chose to kick start my card list by using the Merry from the Seasonally Scattered Stamp Set, which can be found in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue.

For this card, I used a technique called Emboss Resist by stamping the merry from the Seasonally Scattered Stamp Set in versa mark and then heat embossed. Using a sponge dauber I rubbed the image in lost lagoon blending from the centre out to create a softness. Lost Lagoon is one of the new in colours and I totally love it.

Next stop is the lovely and very talented Renee

Thanks for stopping By!

  5. SO funny! Smart minds think alike... I prepared a card using both these stamp sets and the SAME colours but I did not do emboss ing. I ended up holding onto it for my Artisan blog hop. Now after seeing this I think I may not show it as your ROCKS :)

Miss seeing my Narelle on a Tuesday and I forgot to tell you I had Blendies this week.... Sorry. I know you still love me but.

  6. Stunning as always Narelle. Love the idea of using the emboss resist technique and the little 'Christmas' down in the corner. :)
