With the theme being about WHEELS I thought I would make a start on my Father's Day stash of cards. I must admit I still get stumped when it comes to the "Man Card". I'm really not kidding. Most people know I love all things pretty and a little bit of bling and you definitely don't use your typical supplies when it comes to male card.
I have to say the first stamp set that came to mind was Guy Greetings Stamp set from Stampin'Up! as it has a fabulous old car which goes with the wheels theme.
I used Crushed Curry, Basic Black & Whisper White as my colour combo.
The Image has been stamped in Basic Black ink and using my whisper white water colour pencil I added white highlights to the car and wheels which really pops on the Crushed Curry Cardstock. To create a 3D effect I cut out the car and popped it using Dimensionals. This was a fairly easy card with not a lot of fancy schmancy but I love how it's turned out. If you are in Australia you can purchase anything I have used to make this card just by clicking my Shop online button.
LOVE THIS! Thank you for playing along this week, I love your colour combination xx
ReplyDeleteI love this band of Pick a Pattern DSP along the base of your card, Narelle! Just a beautiful card! Thanks for playing along with this week's Wheels Challenge at the Global Design Project!
