INKspired Artists Blog Hop
Hi everyone and welcome again to my blog. This week is our 10th"INKspired Sketch Bog Hop.Wow how time flies when your having fun! This week's challenge really had me needing to think outside the square. Every time I looked at the sketch all I could see was a really lovely christmas card that my very talented up-line Teneale Williams had made.

I started looking at the lovely " Something borrowed DSP" from the New Occasions Catalogue and my card started to come together from there. I also used a couple of different stamp sets this week for the flower and the sentiment. I really had fun with this sketch and hope you enjoy playing along to the sketch too! You may have arrived here from Maree's blogor if it's your first stop please be sure to ‘hop’ to all the other  talented INKsired Team Members!

Thanks for stopping by!

These are Stampin'Up! Products I've Used.

Love & Sympathy.

Last week I needed to make a sympathy card so I decided to use the Love & Sympathy Stamp Set from the Stampin'Up annual Catalogue.  I used Whisper White and Marina Mist Card stock. The card was so beautiful I ended up making three of the same card so I could have some on hand ( I hope I don't have to use them too soon!)

To get the "water coloured" look on the flower, I uses the Stampin'Up! markers. Colour in the stamp and then spritzed it with a little water. I just loved the soft effect it gives. My beautiful friend Louise Sharp and my Up-Line Teneale Williams never make a card with creating an inside as well as a front for every card and I think this has rubbed off on me as I just can't give a card that's not finished off!

The Sentiment that I used and the little verse inside the card are all stamps included in this very versatile set. I even stamped an image of the flower on the envelope.
For the embossing folder to be longer I just embossed half of the card stock then lined it up to emboss the other half. I love to dye the white organza ribbon the colour of the card stock that I use. Hope you like this card as much as I do!
Thanks for stopping bye.. xx

This week I really needed a thank you card for my best friend who can be a little crazy at times! So I used a new stamp set called Crazy about you. I really had lots of fun with this sketch and hope you enjoy playing along to the sketch too! You may have arrived here from Maree's blogor if it's your first stop please be sure to ‘hop’ to all the other  talented INKsired Team Members!

I was looking to create a bright & happy feel with this week's card
and love how it came together with some very simple stamping and
a little fussy cutting!

Thanks for stopping bye!
