Wow this fortnight has come around super fast as we get ready for the festive season!

This week I've had Christmas on my mind so I decided to have a play with the gorgeous
Oranmental Pine stamp set from our Holiday Catalogue. I'm really having lots of fun with the sketches and hope you enjoy playing along to the sketch too! You may have arrived here from
Maree's blogor if it's your first stop please be sure to ‘hop’ to all the other

I was looking to create a vintage feel with this week's card
and love how it came together with
some very simple stamping!

Thanks for Stopping by

Welcome to our fourth INKspired Sketch Bog Hop!
This week's blog sketch was a lot of fun to do. I hope you enjoy playing along to the sketch too! You may have arrived here from Maree's blog, or if it's your first stop please be sure to ‘hop’ to all the other talented INKsired Team Members!

This week I used the Blooming with Kindness Stamp Set from Stampin'Up!
I had been going to do a christmas card but decided to create a
birthday card instead and just love how it came together.

I started with a vanilla base and built it up from there. I was going to use the "I love lace" stamp set as a background on this card but felt the crumb cake would look better plain, so I just laid colour on colour and sponged the edge of the cardstock in crumb cake "I love layers". I then added the basic black card stock and a piece of vanilla. The leaves are from the stamp set Kinda Electric which I stamped in crumb cake, stamped off and then stamped onto the vanilla for a softer look. I then stamped the birthday greeting in black and the flower in real red. I added a strip of DSP for a little contrast and a vintage brad. I wanted something a little thicker than the linen thread so I cut thin strips of the crumb cake to add as an embellishment.

Thanks for Stopping By!

Cheerful Christmas

8:35 AM

My theme of late has been focusing on projects using the Stampin’ Up! products available in the Holiday Catalogue I've designed today’s card using the Cheerful Christmas stamp set and the Lucky Stars Textured embossing folder.

Rather than colouring the whole stamp with Stampin’ Write markers, I inked the entire stamp in Cherry Cobbler (Classic Stampin’ Pad) and then used a cotton bud to remove the ink from the pine needles and re-coloured just those small areas with the Garden Green Stampin’ Write marker.  BUT before stamping onto card stock I “huffed” on the entire stamp to remoisten any ink that may have started to dry.  And there you go, that’s how I did it!

Cheers Narelle

Listed below are the Stampin’ Up! products that I used in the design of this card (click on the images to get the details on how you can order them for yourself).

Welcome to our Third INKspired Blog Hop!
I had lots of fun playing along with this week’s blog sketch
and love the end result and hope you do too!
You may have just arrive here from Maree's blog,

I started with Shelli's Stamp Set "I Love Lace" to create a patterned background. Firstly I versa marked it then heat embossed it using white embossing powder. I totally love the softness of the lace. I then used a sponge dubber and lightly rubbed Lost Lagoon all over to give a hint of colour!

I used the Tag topper punch from Stampin'Up! to create my tag and then using markers I coloured the Postage Due stamp in using lost lagoon, Raspberry Ripple and Soft Suede, stamping directly onto the tag. The little rose was made using the petite petals punch and a circle cut into a spiral for the centre.

Thanks for stopping by!
